Pulse wanted one app for iOS and Android that patients could rely on anywhere — including hospital basements with no signal. Medication reminders, care plans, and secure messaging all had to work offline and sync flawlessly the moment a connection returned.

We built the app in React Native with an offline-first data layer, background sync, and end-to-end encrypted messaging. Native modules handled health-kit integrations and reliable local notifications, and a design system kept the experience calm and accessible for every age group.

Patients now log adherence even without signal, support tickets about 'lost data' disappeared, and the app holds a 4.9-star average across both stores. Daily active use climbed steadily every month post-launch.
